In Suite
Within the suite we provide, easy keyless entry, telephone, TV, DVD, radio, extended cable and internet access, with separate router. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a double bed and there is a fold out sofa bed in the living room. Although the suite is self serve we provide basic conveniences such as tea, coffee, sugar, soaps and linens; so you can relax when you get to the suite. We also provide a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, lot of cooking utensils & pots, iron and ironing board. We have additional in suite amenities such as additional tables and chairs for a home office, baby crib, and baby - toddler items.
On The Drive (Commercial Dr.)
When you arrive we provide you with a guest guide which details some of the spots on The Drive that we like, but there is also a lot more on The Drive. You can download a copy of our current guest map here. (The letters in the commentary correspond to letters on the map.)
The local Community Centre is 2 blocks up Commercial Drive, and has an (A) Olympic indoor swimming pool (plus children's pool), hot tub, sauna, and fitness centre, (B) library and (C) ice skating rink. There are many parks in the area (F) Salsbury Park adjacent to the house, (G) Grandview Park & (H) Victoria Park (I) Templeton School. There are great playground areas for children in these parks, and Grandview Park has a small water park operating during the summer.

(1) Uprising Bread - delicious pastries, all made in-house, plus terrific lattes.
(2) Joe's Cafe - is an icon on the Drive. They make the strongest espresso coffee.
(TH) The nearest Tim Horton's is at 1st and Commercial.
Quick Take-out Food try:
(3) Vancouver Donair - Is a great place for donairs and chicken shawarmas.
(6) Pizza Garden / Mega Bite Pizza. Reasonably priced pizza by the slice or whole pizzas.
For Local Restaurants try:
(4) Skyline Restaurant - Great for breakfast at a very good price.
(5) Sunrise Restaurant - Family restaurant at reasonable prices.
(7) Britannia Sushi - good cheap sushi.
(8) Tio Pepi's - Friendly authentic Mexican restaurant.
For Groceries try:
(G1) East End Food Co-op - a good selection of meats, vegetables and grocery items. Great for a few items that you may have forgotten or need.
(G2) The Food Stop is the closest corner store, cash machine, lotto center, and most conveniences, open 24/7.
(G3) Santa Barbara - Fantastic Italian deli. They also have a good selection of groceries, fruits and vegetables.
