The Suite
We currently have a bright TOP floor, 2 bedroom furnished suite located in a newly renovated 1908 character house which is located on a quiet dead-end street 1/2 block from Commercial Drive. The suite has a west facing deck with views of downtown and Grouse Mountain. We are adjacent to Salsbury Park, and 10 minutes to downtown.
The suite has been professionally renovated throughout including a new gas fireplace, new kitchen, with granite counter tops and dishwasher. The suite has a new bathroom with a separate hot water heater.
Amenities include, cable TV, separate wireless internet, pull-out sofa in living room, and lots of on street parking.

Commercial Drive - The Drive
The Drive is Vancouver's Greenwich Village, repeatedly receiving awards as the best neighbourhood in the City and is ranked one of the 10 hippest neighbourhoods in North America. We have an eclectic mix of people and businesses. The Drive has a funky mix of over 300 shops, restaurants, bars, venues for live music, European style cafes and the best coffee in town. Most of the businesses are owner operated with very few chain stores and restaurants.
The neighbourhood dates back to the 1880 and has a many heritage homes. Mixed into the neighbourhood are several medium size parks and a large community center. Britannia Community Centre has a pool with sauna, and hot tub , fitness center, and ice rink, and is located just 2 blocks from the suite.
The people of the neighbourhood are from multiple cultures with no one ethnic group dominating the mix. To be truly multicultural Canada has to be represented; so for Canadians and timbit lovers rest assured that we do have a Tim Horton's, but at least try the other coffee on The Drive. With so many shops and services along The Drive it not surprising that the suite has an excellent walk score of 97.
